Welcome to the Starlight Cascade Wine Section!

Located near Yarker, Ontario, Canada (44.22.39 N 76.45.47 W    151M Elevation) in the Township of Stone Mills

Every year we go on a winery tour of Prince Edward County and each year it gets better and better (tastetrail.ca). We have also visited the Okanagan Valley and the Niagara Wine Region.
The following is a record of purchases in an attempt to try and keep the wine straight and so that we can remember from year to year which are the ones we liked.

    some wineries had PR, sold out of 2009 stuff, most are about to harvest. 2010 stuff coming out next april? or later? most tastings up to $2 each, most refundable with purchase

  • Peller Estates French Cross Pinot Grigio 12% 1L tetrapak: "fresh tropical citrus notes highlighted by a crisp refreshing grapfruit finish. Kim likes this one a lot, better than pinot gris
  • Peller Estates French Cross Chardonnay 1L 12%: good "apple fruit and light buttery oak flavours follwed by a mooth refreshing finish. Good by itself. tetrapak container
